You’ll have to indulge me. This week has involved playing football, surfing, running and a nice hike, yet the one thing playing on my mind is Coventry beating Sunderland three nil on Saturday – hence the name of this week’s blog.
The week once again started with yet another impressive five-a-side performance from SpyBar FC.It was actually one of those performances where you’re not really blowing by the end due to the opposition very kindly practically raising the white flag about halfway through proceedings. I must confess that our team is declining in actual work colleagues, being replaced with some very, very capable footballers. But they’re work colleagues by association so it all counts…
The victory against the team that still went and somehow won the league, marked the end of the season and set up nicely the exciting week ahead.
A visit from my parents included a night away in Edinburgh on the Thursday, to watch the Mary Wallopers perform, marking my Mum’s birthday back in January.
